Why This Programme Matters
Africa is at a crossroads. The continent's young population is its greatest asset, but only if that youth is equipped with the right skills, networks, and mindset to lead in an increasingly digital world. The KOICA Youth Leaders Program addresses this directly by:
1.Bridging the digital skills gap — Training young Africans in AI, no-code development, and digital governance
2.Building cross-border networks — Connecting leaders from five countries who can collaborate on continental challenges
3.Providing international exposure — The South Korea component gives participants a global perspective on development and innovation
4.Prioritising inclusion — By giving priority to women, rural youth, and early-stage founders, the programme ensures diverse voices are at the table
