Monash International Scholarship for Excellence 2019

This scholarship is offered to the 10 highest-achieving international students studying Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia. If you have an ATAR of 98.00+ or equivalent, you will be automatically considered for this scholarship when you apply for a Monash undergraduate degree through VTAC. In a nation where Black pasts are erased and the present is under threat, how do we begin conceptualising the future? This conference responds to this curiosity by raising questions about the meanings of Black identities in Britain from this moment post- Windrush and Brexit. By anticipating the future Black possibilities we can articulate contemporary realities and theorise how to move forward from the present hostile environment. Papers and panels are invited covering the whole gamut of ICH-related topics and there will be a special chapter on Monetising ICH - tourism and business. Proceedings are published. Call for Contributions: ‘The revolutionary left in Sub-Saharan Africa’, ROAPE (Deadline: 01 March)

Contribute Contributors are invited to submit a proposal in the form of an abstract (in English or in French) not exceeding 5,000 characters to the following e-mail address:   revleftafrica@rosalux.org  by no later than  1st March 2019 . Proposals will be reviewed. On 31 March 2019, selected contributors will be invited to write their contributions of between 30,000 and 60,000 characters by 15 September 2019 at the latest. In addition to the participation of researchers this symposium welcomes former  revolutionaries who will be able to join the discussions. A symposium is scheduled to be held in Dakar on 31 October and 1 November 2019.

2019 Edition Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Scheme

The Government of Mauritius offers scholarships at undergraduate level to African students. Applicants must be resident citizens of member states of the African Union or of Commonwealth African countries.   This initiative is part of the Government of Mauritius commitment to promote capacity-building at various levels across the African continent through its strong belief that Higher Education is one of the key elements of growth and social development.
