📢 Applications Are Now Open for the OIST Research Internship in Japan – Fall 2026

The OIST Research Internship Program in Japan is now accepting applications for the Fall 2026 intake. This prestigious opportunity offers a Fully Funded Internship for international students from any country, providing hands-on research experience at the world-renowned Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST).

The internship duration ranges from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 6 months, giving students valuable time to immerse themselves in advanced scientific research.

🗓 Fall 2026 Internship Period:
October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027

🌍 Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:

• Enrolled Bachelor’s students

• Enrolled Master’s students

• Graduates who already hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

During the internship, participants will conduct research under the supervision and mentorship of an OIST faculty supervisor.

✨ No IELTS is required, and applicants from all academic disciplines related to science, technology, and research are welcome.
