Fully Funded US Government TechGirls Summer Exchange Program 2026

 TechGirls is a U.S.-based summer exchange program designed to empower young women ages 15–17 from the United States and select countries to pursue futures in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).



In 2026, the program will bring together 111 young women from 37 countries, along with 13 U.S. participants, for a transformative three-week STEM immersion experience, followed by a seven-month mentoring program that supports their continued growth and leadership.

Applicants must be citizens of one of the participating countries or territories for 2026 and must be living in that same country or territory at the time of the exchange. Eligible locations include:

Sub-Saharan Africa (AF):
Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia

East Asia & Pacific (EAP):
Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Mongolia, Taiwan, Vietnam

Europe & Eurasia (EUR):
Albania, Cyprus, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Türkiye

Middle East & North Africa (NEA):
Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Tunisia

South & Central Asia (SCA):
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

Western Hemisphere (WHA):
Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Suriname
