Applications are now open for the UNHCR Internship Program 2026.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees — the UN agency responsible for protecting and supporting refugees worldwide — is offering internship positions in multiple countries.

This is a fully funded opportunity, covering return travel costs and providing a partial monthly stipend to support essentials such as food, local transportation, and living expenses.

The program is open to candidates from all nationalities who are:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or

  • Recently graduated.

Internships run for a minimum of two months, making this an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian work, international affairs, and global policy.
