10 International Students Master’s Degree Grant Switzerland 2021 

The University of Lausanne is offering grants for international students to pursue a masters’ degree in Switzerland, academic year 2021. The grant will cover; living monthly allowance and course fees exception.

ABOUT THE MASTERS DEGREE GRANT AT LAUSANNE: 

The University of Lausanne is one of the top universities in Switzerland. The University has an international atmosphere, great facilities & technology and spacious laboratories for researchers. 

All programs offered at the university are eligible. However, only International & comparative law and Legal theory are eligible for a Master of Law. 

The following courses are ineligible:

Master degree at the School of Medicine, Education, Health sciences, Physical Education & Sports Didactics, Criminal Law, Magistracy specialism and all PhD programmes. 

GRANT PACKAGE:

A monthly stipend of CHF 1,600 (From 15thSeptember to 15thJuly. However, students pursuing a full time studies of 1-2 years will get the funding for that period. 

Exemption from paying registration fees for the masters’ degree program 

NB:

Students will be responsible to pay only CHF 80.00 fees per semester

ELIGIBILITY:

Have a degree equivalent to a bachelor degree at the The University of Lausanne 

Excellent academic record during your first degree

B2 level in English or French (Depending on the language of instruction of your chosen course)

Should not have been registered with The University of Lausanne in the past.

Pay CHF 200 administration fees 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

You should send your application by post to the university address indicated in the offical website below. 

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED IN THE APPLICATION FORM:

A completed and signed application form for your chosen course of study

Insert a JPEG format passport-sized photograph in your application form 

Secondary school diploma certificate. However, any documents not written in French, German, English or Italian is required should be translated and notarised 

Bachelors degree transcript

Curriculum vitae

A cover letter

2 letters of recommendation from your previous lecturers

Official language certificate. For English (TOEFL or IELTS) and for French (DALF or DELF)

• Passport or identity document

• Payment receipt for the CHF 200 application processing fee

DEADLINE: 

You should apply by 1st November 2020. However, successful applicants will start next autumn or spring semester depending on the programme.
