Fully Funded Short Courses Scholarships Hague Academy 2020

The Nuffic is offering fully funded scholarships for Short Training Courses at The Hague Academy in the Netherlands, Academic year 2020. The scholarship offers; Full tuition fees, Travel return flights, Health Insurance, Accommodation and Daily Subsistence/ living Allowance.
There are 3 programs;
  1. Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)
The OKP is a Dutch global development programme initiated in 2017 and provides opportunities to applicants from 53 countries.
OKP scholarships aim to contribute to society’s development by strengthening the skills & knowledge of students from eligible countries.

OKP prioritises on the following areas;

  • Food and nutrition security
  • Water
  • Energy and climate
  • Sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • Security and the rule of law
  • Private Sector Development
  • Gender and Inclusive Development

2. MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP)

The Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) Scholarship Programme provides opportunities to students from 10 participating countries in the MENA region. However, applicants from Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon can apply for both OKP & MSP Scholarships.
The MENA Scholarship Programme’s objective is to facilitate democratic transition in the target countries.

3. StuNed (Dutch-Indonesian scholarship programme)

The StuNed Scholarship programme is awarded to only Indonesians. The objective of the StuNed scholarship is to train and strengthen the human resources in Indonesian organisations.

SCHOLARSHIP PACKAGE:

The Nuffic Scholarships will offer the following items to the successful candidates;

  • Full tuition fees
  • Travel return flights (from an international airport to Amsterdam)
  • Health Insurance
  • Accommodation,
  • Daily Subsistence/ Living Allowance

DEADLINES:

The deadlines for the short training courses vary. However, there are 3 deadlines for each short course every year (March, July and October).

1st Deadline 8th October 2019

  • Migration and Local Authorities by 24th February to 6th March 2020
  • Inclusive Service Delivery & the Sustainable Development Goals apply by 9th to 20th March 2020
  • Citizen Participation & Inclusive Governance by 23rd March to 3rd April 2020
  • Climate Adaptation & Local Resilience by 1st to 12th June 2020
  • Integrity & Anti-Corruption by 15th to 26th June 2020

2nd Deadline 7th March 2020

Multilevel Water Governance by 7th to 18th September 2020
Local Economic Development by 21st September to 2nd October 2020
Conflict, Rule of Law & Local Security by 26th October 6th November 2020
Gender Responsive Governance by 16th to 27th November 2020.

3rd Deadline 14th June 2020

Fiscal Decentralisation and Local Finance 2021 by February 2021
