A List of Educational Establishments in Belgium

As a mentor to students seeking to pursue higher education, it can be a mammoth task trying to figure out different universities available in the country you intend to study. Going through search engines can unravel some, but usually, many websites simply repeat the lists. Unless an international student who resides in the country and is able to list some of the local institutions, it would be impossible to know about other smaller universities with average rankings. As such, there arises a situation where majority of international students apply to colleges or universities which they find online, whereas the under publicized institutions get fewer applications from international students. If you are an international student, and you are looking for universities in Belgium which are not very popular, below are a few. Note that the list is not exhaustive and it is based on my online search of less popular universities/colleges in Belgium.  I think many institutions open applications for the next academic year in October so you may want to start preparing your personal statement, CV, transcripts and certificates to begin.
