Italian Government MAECI Scholarships for Foreign and Italian Students in Italy, 2018-2019
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is
inviting applications for grants for foreign citizens and Italian
citizens living abroad awarded by the Italian Government.
In order to apply for MAECI scholarships, candidates who enrol for courses held in Italian must possess an Italian language certificate level B2.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants in favor of foreign citizens not residing in Italy and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE)* for the academic year 2018-2019 in order to foster international cultural, scientific and technological cooperation, to promote Italian language and culture and to support Italy’s economic system in the world (According to Law 288/55 and its subsequent changes and additions).

Scholarship Description:
- Application Deadline: April 30, 2018
- Course Level: Scholarships are offered for the following courses:
Master of science
PhD
Research under the academic supervision - Study Subject: Scholarships are offered over different departments across the University, all offering a diverse range of courses.
- Scholarship Award: Grantees will receive a 900 Euros monthly allowance on a quarterly basis, which will be paid on their Italian bank account.
The first instalment of the grant can be received only after the completion of University enrollment and the submission of all the documents requested according to the necessary administrative procedures.
The last instalment of the grant will be paid only upon verification of satisfactory academic progress.
The grant will cover courses attended in Italy only. - Nationality: Available to foreign citizens not residing in Italy and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE).
