Fully Funded Philanthropy in Motion 2018 (Model Foundation) in Yale Center Beijing
Philanthropy in Motion (PIM) empowers millennials with the funding,
training, and networks to become mission-driven leaders and amplify
their social impact. We guide individuals through a comprehensive
process of identifying their missions, investigating social issues, and
leveraging collective resources to advance social innovation in Greater
China. Combining world class curricula with a “learning by giving”
approach, our education programs have empowered hundreds of young people
to take a strategic, venture capitalist model to philanthropy, deciding
how to best allocate a fund of up to $20,000 as well as other resources
to impactful social ventures.

Using a “learning by doing” model, PIM provide rising international leaders with the tools to make a difference. In this program hosted in partnership with Yale Center Beijing, you will be trained to think like a strategic changemaker and philanthropist through immersing in different social enterprise models in China and building cross-sector skills in workshops led by experts. Your collective challenge: decide on a strategy that would best leverage $20,000 USD to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Aspiring changemakers; campus student leader; early-stage entrepreneur; impact intrepreneur; community builder; nonprofit and CSR professionals under 30 years old
