President François Hollande Prepares to Visit Cameroon

The French president is expected to arrive Yaoundé, Cameroon in a few days from today. The two presidents are expected to discuss inter alia various means, tactics and strategies to deploy in order to defeat the terrorist group Boko Haram. The Nigerian president who is also due to visit Cameroon is Nigerian president has also expressed his concerns in fighting the said terrorist group and called for greater cooperation among neighbouring countries to garner support and eliminate Boko Haram insurgents whose terrorist activities in the region have claimed the lives of many. The anticipation is that these meetings would yield visible results and not end in talks while the lives of military men and civilians are at risk from the terrorist group.
