Are you a young leader eager to engage in cross-cultural dialogue, build global connections, and co-create solutions for pressing global challenges? Tsinghua University, one of China's most prestigious institutions, invites you to apply for the 4th Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue (TGYD) 2026. This immersive 14-day international exchange program offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore China's vibrant cities and collaborate with peers from around the world.
What is the Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue?
The TGYD is an international exchange platform established by Tsinghua University to foster a global network for youth cooperation and strengthen global competence. The 2026 edition, themed "Bridging the Divides (破界同行)", will bring together outstanding young leaders aged 18-35 from diverse regions and sectors worldwide. Participants will embark on a journey through three of China's major cities from June 27 to July 10, 2026, engaging in practical explorations and dialogues.
A Journey Through China's Innovation and Culture:
The program is structured to provide a rich and diverse experience across three distinct cities:
•Hangzhou – “Smart China”: Explore the frontiers of the digital economy, AI innovation, and smart manufacturing. Visit leading tech companies and experience the harmonious blend of technology and tradition.
•Shanghai – “Open China”: Dive into global finance, innovation ecosystems, and port logistics in one of the world’s most dynamic metropolises. Engage with youth startups and international community hubs.
•Beijing – “Cultural China”: Participate in profound civilizational dialogues at Tsinghua University, visit iconic cultural landmarks, and co-create future-focused initiatives in thematic workshops.
