 Applications are now open for the Fully Funded Tarbell Fellowship 2026. This prestigious 9-month program offers aspiring journalists from around the world the opportunity to work inside some of the top global newsrooms.



Selected fellows will spend nine months embedded in leading media organizations such as Bloomberg, The Guardian, MIT Technology Review, TIME Magazine, and other major outlets focusing on Artificial Intelligence reporting.

In addition to the newsroom placement, fellows will complete a 10-week intensive course covering the foundations of AI and journalism, followed by a one-week in-person Summit in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA.

The fellowship is fully funded, covering:

  • Round-trip airfare

  • Accommodation

  • A competitive salary/stipend
