How to Join the UK Army As a Commonwealth Citizen

Since 2018, the British Army has opened its doors to Commonwealth citizens; however, you must meet specific criteria to join. They fall under different categories, and I will elaborate on each type as much as possible.

You must be a Commonwealth citizen. Click on this link to know what countries are members of the Commonwealth. https://www.worlddata.info/alliances/commonwealth-of-nations.php

Fitness is another measure to determine whether you are a suitable candidate to join the Army. Male candidates will need to do 44 press-ups, while women have to do 21 press-ups both in two minutes. You should be able to perform 50 sit-ups in two minutes. There's a bleep test where the candidate is expected to run between two lines with a bleeping sound. Male candidates should reach a level of 10.2, and females will need 8.1.

It is fascinating to learn that to join the Army as a soldier, you do not require any formal educational qualifications. Suppose you do not have the qualifications, it is important to demonstrate interest in acquiring knowledge. You can boost your skills by earning internationally accredited courses. You can contact me (Dr. Delphine Asobo of Beveen Mentoring Academy and I will recommend some courses for you. Please introduce yourself first before you begin any conversations. Whatsapp only +447473128702).

Although you do not need any formal qualifications, please note that technical roles would require specialized qualifications.

Age you must be at least 16 years old to join the Army as a soldier, be enlisted before your 36th birthday, and if you're under 18, you would require consent from either your parents or guardians.

Criminal Conviction: having a criminal conviction might affect your application, but NEVER hide your conviction. The Army examines cases and may allow you to join based on the offense.

As a commonwealth citizen, some criminal offenses do not allow you to live in the UK.

Tattooes and body piercings are not allowed, but there are some exceptions. Tattoos on the face, throat, or ear will not be accepted. Offensive and inflammatory tattoos are equally rejected.

There are some academic tests that you would be expected to pass. In order to better prepare you for the test, you can take a course online on "How to Join the British Army." WhatsApp +447473128702 to purchase the course.
