80 Fully Funded Graduate Scholarships Cambridge UK 2021

The Gates Cambridge Trust is offering 80 fully funded Masters & PhD Scholarships for internationals students, academic year 2021/22. The scholarship offers; University tuition fees, living allowance and travel cost.

ABOUT THE GATES SCHOLARSHIP:

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme is made possible by the generous donation of about US$210m from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Since its establishment in October 2000, the scholarships has awarded over 225 scholarships.

The Gates Cambridge Scholarships gives opportunities to academically talented international students from outside the United Kingdom. Please not that the scholarships are highly competitive.

Scholarships will be awarded for full time graduate research degrees in any subject offered at the University of Cambridge in United Kingdom.

The scholarship programme looks at creating a global network of future leaders who committed to improving the lives of others in their communities as well as outside their surroundings.

AWARDS:

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship program will award 80 fully funded graduate scholarships for 2021 entry. However, two-thirds of these scholarships will be awarded for research PhD students.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Be an International student from any county except United Kingdom Citizens
  • Applying to study one of the following full time residential courses in 2020: 3-year research PhD, 2-year MSc or MLitt and 1-year postgraduate course such as MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma and MBA among others.

NB:

Students already studying for an MPhil can apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to pursue a research PhD. However, students who have already started studies are not eligible to apply for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS:

The Gates Cambridge Trust Scholarship are fully funded and will offer the following items;

  • The University or College tuition fees
  • A maintenance living allowance
  • 1 economy single travel ticket from your home county to Cambridge and back at the end of the course

Apply for admission to a graduate degree program and various scholarships (including Gates Cambridge) through the University of Cambridge Graduate Applicant Portal.
