History MA Scholarships for International Students at University of Sheffield in UK, 2018

The University of Sheffield is offering scholarships for UK, EU and international applicants students starting History MA programmes in September 2018. Each award is worth £9,000 and can be used towards fees and/or living expenses.
The Department of History is one of the largest, most active and successful centres for teaching and historical research in the UK.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: June 15, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MA programme.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of history.
  • Scholarship Award: Each award is worth £9,000 and can be used towards fees and/or living expenses.
  • Number of Scholarships: There are two scholarships available.
  • Nationality: UK, EU and international applicants
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK


Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible Countries: UK, EU and international applicants are eligible to apply.
  • Entrance Requirements: These awards are open to UK, EU and international applicants who are applying to study either full-time or part-time. You need to have applied to a History MA programme for entry in September 2018 to be eligible to apply to this funding scheme. This application will be considered alongside the references and transcript from your course application. Awards will be made on academic merit.
  • English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
