So often we do not pray in certain situations, because from our standpoint the outlook is hopeless. But, nothing is impossible with God. No habit so deep rooted that it cannot be overcome;No one so ill that cannot be healed. No mind so dull that cannot be made brilliant. I had my feet up since Friday trying to sort out my other school stuff. I first of mentally organise my reads before putting the general ideas onto paper. And so I spent my weekend deliberating on what would constitute my next academic chapter. For today's story book, we read Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell. It is an open-the-flap book which makes it interactive and engaging with the kids. It acts as a play moment for the kids as the children try to grapple with the type of animal sent by their zoo friends. The little book begins with someone sending a letter to her zoo friends to find her/him a pet. They send the fiercest of them all, but she sent it back. They sent Mr Grumpy and still, it wasn't right. The friends at the zoo had to rethink and brought their heads to use by choosing a puppy. If you cannot rejoice in some other person’s success, you place stumbling blocks on your own path and success might just be unable to locate you. For to become successful you’ve got to do so by tapping into other peoples’ glory moments; you’ve got to get inspired not bitter,  you've  got to get fired up, to sit and work hard and not harbour hate for that successful person.

One of the best classics I have read so far is Little Red Riding Hood who does not heed her mom's advice and allows the wolf to suggest things to her. Yes it is brilliant to get flowers for grandma, but if mom said to look out for the big bad wolf, you'd better do as told. She thinks the big bad wolf suggestion of picking up flowers for grandma is in her best interest, unfortunately, it is not the case as the big bad wolf has other ideas. He speeds off to grandma's house for some tasty food. Grandma isn't there and he assumes her place waiting to GOBBLE UP Little Red Riding Hood Little Red Riding Hood notices strangeness in grandma's body features and she begins to ask questions: what big teeth have you? what big ear you've got etc..the big bad wolf is at it until they are rescued by a woodcutter.
