Charity Group in Ghana Changing Lives Through Acappella Singing

So Beveen Mentoring Academy met with a brilliant student from Ghana who was seeking to obtain mentoring, but did not get round to fulfilling the terms and conditions, but because of his extra-ordinary work in Ghana, we are delighted to say Marcus Anafu has been selected to obtain mentoring.

We asked him about what he does in Ghana.

Marcus: we are a youth charity non profit organisation aimed at supporting the less privileged and more especially the orphaned and underprivileged street children. We have embarked on quite a number of charity donations to several deprived villages and towns in Ghana, hoping to extend even to the other deprived places in Africa.

What inspired you?

Marcus: I got inspired from the struggles of my infancy and the plights of the less privileged children on the streets
I had a strong intuition I believe from God to start a movement that would bring together youths to embark on charity to these ones in anyway possible

Marcus: It wasn't easy starting it,I had many arrows of hate, envy and discouragement from friends and circumstances around, but through it all,the passion to help set the needy street children in a quite comfortable condition to enable them thrive kept burning in me. It was as though their liberation depended solely on me.
And my experience of lack and need was a good testimony to what they were going through.

Any pictures for us to view captured moments?

Marcus: Ma'am I've got lots of pictures of our donations.

Any support, yet?
Marcus: Gradually we have been able to win the support of a great number of youths in the country,we have revived the virtue of charity not only in the lives of the youths but even the old,we have been registered as an existing and operating charity organization in Ghana,we have been interviewed by three radio stations and by His grace I have been labelled the youngest CEO in Ghana

Marcus: All the 10 donations we have embarked on within 8 months of birth was funded solely by the contributions of the selfless youths in the foundation

Marcus: We have been able to start an Acapella that sings to raise funds to support in our donations
