Postdoctoral writing bid awards are available to early careers scholars within 12 months of their doctorate and do not hold an academic career. The funding is for four weeks of writing to assist candidate to put forward proposals to a funder of their choice. Successful candidates would be supported by an academic staff. The department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance is offering some scholarships in these respective fields for the academic year 2016/2017. The scholarship would be awarded for three years. Holders would be expected to make a contribution to the department. Award: Fee waiver and a maintenance allowance set at £14,296 and a research allowance of £2,250 over the period of study.
